J. Adam McIntyre has been a music educator in the state of Florida for the past 8 years. During this time, he has been instrumental in the success of several high school band programs. For the past 3 years, Adam has been the Director of Bands at Winter Springs High School, where the band program continues to consistently receive superior ratings and many awards. Previously, he served as Director of Bands at Deland High School and Edgewater High School.
Adam holds a Bachelor of Music Education degree as well as a Bachelor of Music Performance degree from the Stetson University. In 2009 he earned his Master of Music Education at Florida State University. Adam is a member of Florida Bandmasters Association, Florida Music Educators Association, Music Educators National Conference, and National Band Association. He also plays euphonium with Southern Winds, a band composed of music educators in the Central Florida area.
