The WSHS Band of Gold routinely sends out emails with
band news, event information, and more.
If you are part of the Band of Gold and are not receiving the updates, please send your email address to firstname.lastname@example.org to be added to our Band Family list for the 2017-2018 school year. Thank You!
Each year we ask for a few things from our families to help out our program for the coming year. We ask that all families please donate 2 24 bottle cases of water (.5 liter bottles). We use this water for the students to take to each game with them as well as for the third quarter break when the students get to socialize with the visiting band. We also ask each family for 2 12 pack cases of soda (cans). This is for the third quarter break and we ask for one clear soda and one of any type. These donations can be brought to registration night or can also be dropped off during band camp.
A few other things that we need are listed below. Please take a look at the list and send in what you can.
Gatorade-no larger than 24 oz bottles please. This is used to help hydrate any of our students who are struggling with the heat and come to the first aid tent.
Saltines- Used in the first aid tent
Granola Bars- no nuts or chocolate please. These are also used in the first aid tent.
Freeze pops- these are used as a cool treat for the students at the end of marching rehearsal.

We are in need of anyone who can sew. You do not have to be a seamstress, but just need to be able to sew a hem. Please contact Shanda if you are able to help.
A large part of the success of our Band of Gold is due to our generous volunteers who donate their time, talents, and resources. Please consider investing in our WSHS Band of Gold.
